Love
is an emotion
A heart
emerged in an ocean
Passion
flowing with uncertain intensity
Meeting the ends of the earth
Trapped within it’s own capacity
Compelled to ignite in a raging fire
Destined to burn in it’s own ardous desire
And though it’s a joy with a name of it’s own
It’s a pain forever etched in stone

Love
is a feeling
A wound
gentled with tender healing
Fascination
smoldering with hazey yearning
Revolving on it’s very own axis
A world weaving paths in it’s own turning
Eternally new with every immaculate rebirth
Filling the soul with sensuous mirth
And though it’s an ache with a lustful touch
It’s a need that can never be satisified with too much
